Women and Leadership Professional Development Scolarships

Scholarships of $1000-$5000 per person are available for women in the IT sector

Surveys

Over the coming weeks ITP will be conducting a range of micro-surveys, short, topic based, focused surveys that will take you 1-2 minutes to complete max. We want to hear from you our members and supporters on a range of topics - courses you would like to see offered, topics for webinars, on certification, mentoring, events - you name it we will be asking.

We will publish the results of every survey and will let you know what we plan to do as a result of your feedback.

Reskilling and Upskilling project consultation phase is close

The digital technology industry is suffering greatly from a mismatch of skill supply and demand. The only way we are going to fix this long-term is if we invest in the development of domestic talent. 

Last year we came up with a 10 actions in the Skills and Talent Plan to sort out the mismatch, addressing all parts of the skills pipeline.  The plan identified upskilling and reskilling as a key way to address the mismatch, but found a lack of opportunities and coordination in this area.  It recommended a strong strategic focus on re-skilling and upskilling (Action 1). 

Now we are doing a deep dive into existing opportunities for upskilling and reskilling, the barriers to it happening, and what needs to happen to encourage more upskilling and reskilling.  In the coming weeks we will be publishing a consultation document and asking for your input and feedback. So get the thinking caps on - we will be asking for your thoughts on this very soon.
