Marsden Research Fund review disappoints
The outcome of the Government's long-awaited review into the Marsden Research Fund was released today, but was met with disappointment from the tech industry.
The review found that the current panel model of the fund was susceptible to "disciplinary bias" - meaning that disciplines such as computing/IT could be being left out in the cold as per the evidence provided by ITP and others - however rather than addressing the issue, simply recommends another review.
