Webstock, the annual "celebration of the magic of the web and those who craft it" kicks off in Wellington next month with a line-up that includes past speakers returning for a winter edition.
Starting on June 26 with pre-conference full-day workshops covering topics ranging from, "Shut Up & Take My Money! Build Products That People Love and People Buy" to, "Demystifying Management", something many of us could benefit from.
The conference proper is on Friday June 28 and includes keynote speakers from a wide range of web-related organisations.
Amy Hoy is a "product strategist and teacher by day, fine furniture enthusiast by night" and is a full-time product champion. Cameron Adams is the founder and Chief Product Officer at Canva, an online design platform.
Dan Mall is the founder and executive director of SuperFriendly, a design collaborative that plays "matchmaker between surprising art direction and intuitive interaction design" and there are a number of others including New Zealand's own Sacha Judd, who is the managing director of Hoku Group, which is a non-profit organisation that specialises in early-stage technology ventures, and also co-host of Refactor, a series of events for women working in technology, in her spare time.
