Update from ITPNZ

Here's a quick weekly update from ITP CEO Paul Matthews.

Here's some quick reminders from ITP about ITx (Call for Presentations and Sponsorship) and Branch Elections, as well as a quick update from a really busy week for our 123Tech team.

123Tech hugely active for TechWeek

As well as heaps of ITP events around the country, this year we've had a huge focus on the Tahi Rua Toru Tech in-school challenge over TechWeek.

The 123Tech has been at teacher and education conferences in Auckland, Hamilton and Christchurch, with more this week. An absolute highlight was the Māori Tech Showcase on Tuesday.

Check out this highlight video from the event:

ITx Rutherford

REMINDER: ITx Rutherford Call for Presentations

We're really excited to open the Call for Presentations for the ITP conference at ITx Rutherford 2019 in Nelson in October.

ITx is where New Zealand's digital technology sector comes together, and ITx Rutherford is a smaller spin-off conference in a retreat-style format and limited to 350 people.

Each component conference of ITx is responsible for setting their own programme, so we invite digital and tech professionals and other interested parties to share abstracts/concepts for consideration for the ITP 2019 Conference.

If you're an academic looking to submit an academic paper, check out the CITRENZ conference Call for Papers - also part of ITx 2019.

ITx Sponsorship Opportunities

We're also excited to offer a broad range of sponsorship opportunities for ITx Rutherford.

The main ITx conference is the largest independent national tech conference in NZ, run every second year in one of the main centres (usually Wellington at the TSB Arena and Shed 6 complex). With almost 1000 delegates and 12 conferences in one, ITx is huge.

ITx Rutherford is a more intimate version of ITx, limited to 350 people and held in a retreat-style format in Nelson this year. The conference runs from 9th-11th October 2019.

Sponsorship opportunities are now available for ITx Rutherford. These usually go fast, so contact us immediately to register your interest if you're keen to support and be associated with NZ's premier conference of tech.

You can download the Sponsorship Prospectus here.
