Broadband Compare TUANZ Award winners are...
More than 200 professionals from New Zealand's ICT sector celebrated the industry's efforts at this year's Broadband Compare TUANZ Awards held late last week in Auckland.
The awards are held to celebrate the telco end of the industry and include "Best ISP", "Best customer support", "Best rural ISP" and a range of others.
The smaller ISPs held their own throughout the awards with nothing in the bag for Vodafone or Spark - 2Degrees won Best Broadband Innovation, but the night was dominated by the smaller players. Network4Learning won the Best Specialist Broadband Provider and was named supreme award winner on the night, Hawkes Bay based NOW won Best customer support and Slingshot won the People's Choice award, largely based on public votes.
Gavin Male, founder and CEO for Broadband Compare, says: "The second year of the Broadband Compare TUANZ Awards have been a huge success. We were delighted by the quality of entries and number of brands that participated in this year's award and our judges had a tough task selecting a winner for each category. It was fantastic to see so many people from the Internet and Communications sector come together to celebrate excellence in their sector."
