STEM opportunities for students

Paul Brislen, Editor. 22 February 2016, 7:33 am

The Royal Society has a number of international opportunities for senior secondary school students who are passionate about science, ICT, maths and informatics.

Some are fully funded, some partially, but all offer great opportunities for secondary school students. International destinations include the UK, Israel, the USA, Singapore, Australia and India among others.

SRS is a "summer" research school for high achieving teenagers, with a pronounced interest in the fields of mathematics, informatics and ICT.

"[SRS] combines the best practices from leading programmes for high school students in the field such as RSI (organised by CEE and MIT) with the unique opportunities of a dynamic small-scale learning environment.

The students will work with scientific mentors, traditionally stemming from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and guests from international research universities in the fields of mathematics and informatics."

More information can be found at the Royal Society's International Senior Secondary Science Opportunities page.
